Ohio taxpayers: this gift may qualify for Ohio's scholarship tax credit right now, up to $750 per person. Married couples can claim up to $1,500 when each spouse gives in their own name. How the Ohio credit works · Donor guide

Gift amount

Ohio's credit is up to $750 per taxpayer. The federal credit (gifts made in 2027 or later) is up to $1,700 per person; on a joint return, each spouse gives in their own name to claim up to $3,400 combined. Amounts used for the federal credit are not also deductible; other gifts may be deductible as allowed by law.

Federal Scholarship Tax Credit

The federal credit applies to gifts made on or after January 1, 2027. A gift made today is not eligible for the federal credit. It is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and Ohio taxpayers may be able to claim Ohio's credit instead.

Your information

Your name and mailing address appear on your receipt and, for credit-designated gifts, are required for ASN's annual IRS reporting.

Choose a school to support (optional)

Pick the school you'd like your gift to help. ASN uses your choice to direct scholarship funds to students at that school. By law, a gift can't be earmarked for a particular student, and ASN makes the final scholarship decisions.

You'll finish on Stripe's secure checkout page, where you can pay by card or bank account. ASN never sees or stores your card or bank numbers. General information, not tax advice; consult your tax advisor.
